How to request deletion of your account and associated data

How to Request Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your account directly from within the PCWF Member app:

1 Open the PCWF Member app and log in.
2 Tap the hamburger menu (☰) in the top-left corner.
3 Tap Settings (near the bottom of the menu).
4 Tap Request Account Deletion.
5 Review the confirmation prompt and tap Continue.
6 Enter your password when prompted to confirm your identity.

What happens next: Your deletion request is submitted to an administrator for review. After admin approval, a 30-day grace period begins during which your account remains in a deactivated state. You will be logged out immediately upon request submission. If you change your mind, you may contact support before the grace period ends.

Data Deleted

The following data is permanently removed from our servers after the 30-day grace period:

Device Tokens	Push notification (FCM) tokens for all registered devices	Deleted
Sessions	JWT refresh tokens, login attempt history	Deleted
Uploaded Files	Profile photos, payment receipts (JPEG, PNG, GIF, PDF)	Deleted
Admin Data	Admin roles, location permissions, committee permissions, personal notes	Deleted
Notifications	In-app notification records	Deleted

Data Retained for Audit

The following minimal data is retained in anonymized form for internal auditing and integrity purposes:

Note: The retained audit record contains no personally identifiable information. Your original email address is replaced with an anonymized placeholder and cannot be linked back to you. You are free to create a new account using the same email address after deletion.

Grace Period

After your deletion request is approved by an administrator, a 30-day grace period begins. During this period:

Your account is deactivated — you will not be able to log in.
Your data remains intact on our servers in case you change your mind.
After 30 days, your data is permanently and irreversibly deleted.
